The Partners of CSEP have collectively amassed over ninety years of sports marketing experience representing all facets of world class brands, athletes and sports properties. We have held senior management roles in the areas of brand marketing, PR & media relations, and athlete representation. We bring this collective experience and the relationships cultivated throughout our careers to each of our clients.

Patrick QuinnNew Business Development & Athlete Relations
A life spent on the playing field is what laid the foundation for a career calling. Patrick began in hockey, playing through college, where he earned his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA). He went on to become a national champion in the US Speedskating program and later; a member of the US National Luge Team, a national champion, a World Cup medalist and an alternate to the 2006 US Olympic Luge Team. He developed his sales, marketing and promotional expertise as the VP of Corporate Sales & Marketing with the NY Health & Racquet Clubs from 1990-1996. In 1997, he turned his business focus exclusively to sports, founding his own firm, Q Sports Marketing Inc. He has since gone on to manage the careers of athletes who have combined to win over 50 Olympic medals, worked extensively in action, endurance and lifestyle sports and consulted with/secured endorsement deals with countless fortune 500 companies including Nike, McDonald’s, Bank of America, Levis, Lenovo, Powerade, Wheaties, Kellogg’s, Under Armour, and Oakley.
Patrick serves on the Board of Directors of the Carnegie Sports & Entertainment Group, a NY based sports and entertainment philanthropy agency.
Scott KirkpatrickConsulting, Athletes, and Speaker Training
Prior to founding Chicago Sports & Entertainment Partners, Scott was a SVP and U.S. Director of Hill & Knowlton’s sports marketing practice. At Hill & Knowlton, he led the account teams that worked with Allstate and its Olympic, NASCAR and BCS sponsorships; the launch of the Big Ten Network: Chicago 2016 Olympic Bid; the Pittsburgh Pirates; the Tampa Bay Rays; Allianz; adidas; HSBC Women’s World Match Play and others.
Prior to joining H&K, Scott was an EVP at Draft Worldwide where he oversaw experiential marketing programs for Canon, Gatorade Energy Bar, Chivas Regal, Bank of America, Camel and Winston. Before Draft, Scott was a SVP at Kemper Sports Marketing working on major golf tournaments (1989 PGA Championship), building a premiere college basketball tournament (1990-98 Maui Invitational) and developing sports marketing programs for NutraSweet, Equal Sweetener, Frontier Communications and The Glenlivet.
Scott is a graduate of Middlebury College and earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Scott is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies in the Master’s in Sports Administration.
Jeannie GoldsteinConsulting, Brand Strategies & 360 Activation
Jeannie has led the sports and entertainment discipline at agencies Ogilvy and Arc. From developing strategic partnerships to creating award winning programs, she has overseen marketing/sponsorship strategy for United Airlines, VISA, McDonald’s, Kraft, Sara Lee, Kellogg’s, AT&T Wireless, Coca-Cola and others. Jeannie has negotiated and executed partnerships with the Olympics, NFL (teams-Bears, Broncos, Redskins, 49ers), MLB, MiLB, NASCAR, ESPN, Olympians, Pro Athletes, grassroots programs and many more.
After graduating Denison University, Goldstein managed pro sporting events at ProServ and the Nuveen Senior Tennis Tour., Inc. While at ProServ, she worked with agents executing programs for athletes such as Michael Jordan, Nancy Kerrigan, Janet Evans, etc. Her Senior Tennis Tour responsibilities included building the Jimmy Connors brand through events, appearances, activation of programs, and more.
Jeannie serves on the National Board and Chicago Steering Committee for the National Sports Marketing Network.
George BauernfeindConsulting & New Business Development
George led BP’s Olympic and Paralympic brand, marketing, digital and hospitality programs from start-up and strategy to full implementation across more than 50 different divisions, individually supporting their business objectives and priorities. He differentiated BP by creating a unique leadership position in the Paralympics and delivered an industry first with an ambassador team of 5 Paralympians and 2 Olympians. Programs engaged key stakeholders including customers (B2C & B2B), strategic, business & community partners, BP senior leaders and employees. George and his team won the ‘Best of the Best’ BP award for best partnership and use of a sponsorship in sales and marketing.
Prior to the Olympics, George held strategic, customer-facing, marketing and partnership roles across several brands including leading the BP-Ford strategic accounts partnership. His approach of mutual value creation delivered great success for all retail, marketing, B2B and sponsorship activities, building a virtuous cycle and launching an industry-first ‘Ford recommends BP’ on all gas caps.
George graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington and earned his MBA from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. He is active in the community and volunteers for local Chicago area Paralympic sport clubs.
