Malik Jones

Paralympic Gold medalist and key goal scorer for Team USA

Malik Jones scored five goals to lead Team USA to a gold medal at the 2022 Paralympics. He is the second Black sled hockey player to represent Team USA at the Games.

PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY

Malik was born without shin bones and had his legs amputated before the age of 1. He began playing sled hockey at age 7; his love of the sport led him to multiple accolades, including two world championships and a 2022 Paralympic gold medal.

Malik credits his mother and grandmother for influencing his love of hockey. He is a Colorado native, and currently lives in Aurora, CO.
