Patrick Quinn

A life on the playing field laid the foundation for a career in sports management

Patrick Quinn started his athletic career in hockey, playing through college, where he earned his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA). He went on to become a national champion in the U.S. speedskating program, and later, a member of the U.S. national luge team, a national champion, a World Cup medalist and an alternate on the 2006 U.S. Olympic Luge Team. 

 

Patrick developed his sales, marketing and promotional expertise as the VP of corporate sales & marketing with the New York Health & Racquet Clubs from 1990-96. In 1997, he turned his business focus exclusively to sports, founding his own firm, Q Sports Marketing Inc. He has managed the careers of athletes who have combined to win over 50 Olympic medals and worked extensively in action, endurance and lifestyle sports. Patrick has consulted with and secured endorsement deals with countless Fortune 500 companies including Nike, McDonald’s, Bank of America, Levis, Lenovo, Powerade, Wheaties, Kellogg’s, Under Armour and Oakley.

 

Patrick serves on the board of directors of the Carnegie Sports & Entertainment Group, a New York-based sports and entertainment philanthropy agency.
