Dan Cnossen was awarded both a Bronze Star with Valor and a Purple Heart for his service in Afghanistan. After losing both his legs in combat, Dan reinvented himself into a Paralympic skier and biathlete.

PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Dan is a Navy SEAL Lt. Commander who lost both legs in combat against the Taliban in Afghanistan. He has been awarded both a Bronze Star with Valor and a Purple Heart. After his injury, Dan reinvented himself into a seven-time Paralympic medalist in skiing and biathlon, making him one of the most decorated Paralympic athletes in Team USA history. He also earned two Masters degrees from Harvard University.
