After a severe spinal cord injury during a college football game, doctors gave Chris just a 3% chance of ever moving below the neck. Defying the odds, Chris walked at both his college graduation and his wedding, inspiring over 400 million people worldwide.

Chris is the author of two books: The Seven Longest Yards, co-written with his wife Emily, and The Power of Faith, co-authored with his father. His inspiring journey is the focus of the award-winning documentary, 7 Yards. Chris’s impact extends into his work as the founder of the Chris Norton Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with spinal cord and neuromuscular disabilities.

Chris and his wife, Emily, have fostered more than 20 children and adopted five, embodying adaptability and positive change.
