Chaunté Lowe’s story is one of determination, perseverance and strength.  Not only is Lowe a mother of three, a wife and a finance professional, she is also a professional athlete, an American record holder, a four-time Olympian, a three-time World Championship medalist and a 12-time U.S. National Champion.

PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Lowe realized her childhood dream of going to the Olympics in 2004 at just 20 years old. The following year, Lowe won silver at the World Championships, becoming the first American woman to win a world outdoor championships high jump medal since 1983. She went on to represent the U.S. in the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics, and has broken the American high jump record three times.

In her remarkable keynote presentation “Boundless Resilience” Chaunte’ begins by talking about a childhood threatened by poverty, homelessness and constant displacement. Realizing that athletic success was her path out of poverty, she committed herself to the dream of an Olympic medal.

After competing in four consecutive Olympic games, Chaunté’s most daunting opponent appeared: a diagnosis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. What happened next was the most remarkable example of perseverance, resilience, passion and purpose you may ever hear.
